We're in Fernwood Idaho now.  Got here yesterday. We're staying over here for a day with my Aunt Gertrude and having a great time.
There's a lot to report and I'm not sure how much time I have to do it.
We spent 6 days in Montana starting June 11goofing off with Peggi's two sisters Cindy and Chris.   We got back on the road last Monday June 17.  Since we spent so much time goofing off and had to kinda stay on schedule we had to alter our route and eliminated the Canadian section.  That worked out for the best since they were having record rainfall in Alberta.
We stayed a couple of days in Chris and Ron's cabin about 14 miles off the road near Cascade Mt.  Had a great time.  Then Cindy gave us a ride to a campground 7 miles east of Lincoln Mt where we restarted our ride the following day June 17.  We made it to Missoula Mt 87 miles away the first day.  We couldn't find a campground so that's why we did 87 miles.  Plus we had multiple flat tires.  Good times!!  Then we stayed pretty much on Interstate 90 from there to Exit 5 where we hooked up with the Hiawatha Trail and rode to Avery Idaho.  Me an 4 of my friends did this section of the trail 4 or 5 years ago and it was beautiful.  Peggi and I even stayed at the same place, the Sheffly Motel.
The road to St Marie's Saturday was really great.  it followed the St Joe river and there was very little traffic.  It was also mostly downhill.  From there we came 21 miles to Fernwood.  It was mostly NOT down hill.
From here we'll go to Lewiston or Moscow Idaho (not sure yet) and ride across Washington and then to Oregon and the Pacific Ocean.
There's more to report for sure but I'm running out of time and I'm sure Peggi wants to add some coherent comments to this blog.
    More later I hope.
